Neota Rolls Out New AI Governance Strategy

Artificial Lawyer Legal Technology Blog
Neota Logic introduces an AI orchestration layer that logs, checks, and routes LLM calls within governed workflows, ensuring compliance and human oversight.

Summary

Neota Logic, a long‑standing no‑code legal workflow automation firm, has launched an AI orchestration capability that lets legal teams embed their chosen large language models into governed AI workflows. Every LLM call is logged, checked against the firm’s rules, and routed for human sign‑off, providing an audit trail and ensuring compliance.

The system places the model inside a workflow, calling it only for tasks such as extraction, summarization, and classification, while rules, routing, and human review remain under the team’s control. Models are centrally approved, never invoked by default, and can be sourced from providers like Anthropic, OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Google, Open Source, and AWS Bedrock. Neota’s CEO and COO emphasize that the goal is to set a standard for safe AI use in legal and compliance work, balancing speed with accountability.
