Lee recalled Korea's historical role in launching Bangladesh's garment sector via Daewoo's 1978 joint venture and noted that 70% of Korean investment in Bangladesh remains in textiles. He also pointed to broader opportunities in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, ICT, and renewable energy, and expressed optimism that the Korea-Bangladesh CEPA, political stability, and LDC graduation will deepen bilateral ties.
