Arctera and Arca Bring Governed Enterprise Intelligence to Legal AI

Arctera, a business unit of Cloud Software Group, has announced a strategic partnership with Arca, an agentic legal AI platform. This collaboration aims to integrate Arctera AI Converge™ with Arca’s legal-specific AI capabilities, allowing legal and compliance teams to apply AI directly to governed enterprise communications, files, and historical records.

By utilizing the Model Context Protocol (MCP), the integration enables organizations to search, investigate, and analyze records within existing legal AI workflows while maintaining strict corporate permissions, retention policies, and security controls. This addresses the common challenge of siloed enterprise data, which often forces legal teams to manually reconstruct context across disconnected systems.

The partnership is designed to accelerate ediscovery and surveillance workflows by ensuring that enterprise context, governance, and defensibility remain connected throughout the entire AI-driven process. This allows organizations to operationalize AI within their existing, trusted compliance environments.
