The firm is pursuing an aggressive international expansion strategy, particularly targeting the US market where it has doubled revenue and quadrupled profit over four years. Recent strategic moves include hiring lawyers from Paul Weiss and expanding its global footprint with new offices in Shanghai and Singapore. Additionally, the firm has relocated its City headquarters to a new 360,000 sq ft space at 20 Ropemaker Street.
Key mandates from the past year include advising the UK government on the £38bn Sizewell C Nuclear Plant Project and representing Unilever in major corporate transactions. Linklaters is also heavily investing in legal AI through its Applied Intelligence team, utilizing frontier agentic technology to enhance service delivery for clients.
