Legatics’ New MCP Server Connects Your AI Tools

Artificial Lawyer Legal Technology Blog
Legatics launches an MCP server enabling AI assistants to access live deal data securely, enhancing transaction infrastructure.

Summary

Legatics has introduced a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that lets AI assistants and agents connect directly to live Legatics deal data, providing real‑time, read‑only access initially with write capabilities planned for the future. The MCP server works with any AI tool that supports the Model Context Protocol, offering vendor‑neutral integration, enterprise‑grade security via OAuth 2.0 with PKCE, scoped permissions, full audit logging, and immediate revocability through the Legatics Admin System. It is included at no extra cost for all Legatics customers and follows the recent launch of the company’s VDR‑lite feature, positioning Legatics as a transaction infrastructure layer for both humans and AI. Rob MacAdam, Chief Product & Strategy Officer, emphasized that the server supplies the contextual information AI tools lack, enabling them to answer matter‑specific questions and support better decision‑making across firms.
