Betopia Group, founded by entrepreneur Muhammad Monir Hossain, was formally launched on 1 July 2025 as a holding company that unites 22 businesses, over 5,000 employees, and operations in 80 countries. With annual revenue exceeding US$36 million and a monthly payroll over Tk 80 million, the group is among Bangladesh’s largest technology employers. Hossain’s vision is to shift Bangladesh’s reputation from low‑cost outsourcing to building world‑class enterprise technology firms that compete on innovation, capability and scale.

Unlike typical software vendors, Betopia delivers a single integrated solution that spans hardware, software, and strategic consulting, allowing clients to avoid fragmented vendor relationships. The company has built enterprise‑grade AI infrastructure in Bangladesh, enabling AI model development and deployment for clients worldwide, and has completed high‑impact projects such as the VLARPRO digital platform for U.S. veterans. Hossain also proposes Betopia City, a technology‑focused urban ecosystem that would house data centres, corporate headquarters, and innovation hubs to accelerate talent and innovation. He argues that Bangladesh must modernise AI infrastructure, streamline business regulations, and invest in future‑ready talent to become a leading AI and technology economy.
