Startup Stairs, a Gurugram-based DPIIT-recognised incubator, has announced the selection of 16 startups for the first cohort of its Startup League 2026. The selection process was highly competitive, narrowing down over 2,000 applications to 75 shortlisted ventures and 28 final pitch presentations. The chosen startups represent diverse sectors, including artificial intelligence, mobility, sustainability, logistics, cybersecurity, and legal technology.
The selected ventures, such as Rayglides, InfraSight, and Zeex AI, will participate in a structured acceleration program designed to enhance business fundamentals, go-to-market strategies, and investor readiness. This initiative aims to provide mentorship, ecosystem access, and pathways to venture capital, specifically targeting founders from Tier 1, Tier 2, and emerging regions to promote inclusive entrepreneurship across India.
Dr. Preet Sandhu, Promoter of Startup Stairs, emphasized that the overwhelming response highlights the growing entrepreneurial talent outside traditional hubs. The program will conclude with founder showcases and investor engagement opportunities, helping these startups scale and prepare for future funding rounds.
