South African legal artificial intelligence start-up Anvaya has secured the top prize in the South African chapter of the Start-up World Cup. Hosted by Pegasus Tech Ventures, this competition is a global platform often referred to as the "Olympics of Start-ups." By winning the regional contest, Anvaya will advance to the global finale in San Francisco, where it will compete against winners from over 20 countries for a chance to secure investment exposure and a share of a $1 million prize.

Founded by Lynton Naicker and Ranvir Mohanial, Anvaya provides an AI-enabled platform designed to streamline legal workflows, including document review, research, and matter management.
