Datasite & Harvey link deal documents to AI workflows

It Brief Australia
Datasite partners with Harvey to bring secure Datasite deal documents into Harvey's AI workflows for diligence, drafting and analysis.

Summary

Datasite has partnered with legal AI company Harvey to let approved transaction documents from Datasite data rooms flow into Harvey's Assistant, Vault, Workflow Builder and Word Add-In. Existing Datasite permissions carry over, so users can work only with files they are already authorized to access. The integration is aimed at reducing friction in mergers and acquisitions and other private-market deals, where lawyers and advisers often move between systems to review documents, answer diligence questions, draft materials and analyze changing deal information. Datasite says the connection helps teams access deal work securely and make faster, better-informed decisions, while Harvey says it extends its Connector Library by adding private-market transaction data to its AI-powered workflows. Datasite says it has spent 26 years building tools for private-market transactions, and Harvey says its software is used by more than 1,500 customers in over 60 countries.
