Newcode AI Ireland rolls out services for legal sector

Newcode AI Ireland has appointed experienced solicitor Donna O'Leary as director and head of the company. A former solicitor at Mason Hayes & Curran, O'Leary will lead Newcode AI's initial focus on the legal sector in Ireland, with plans to offer wider AI solutions to finance, insurance, banking, and the public sector in due course. Newcode.ai is currently hiring legal engineers across Europe and the US to build AI solutions that transform legal workflows. The company recently completed a $6.5M+ seed round in the US, led by Alliance VC together with The LegalTech Fund and other investors. O'Leary, who founded DOL Consultancy in April 2025, expressed excitement about building a team that reflects the energy of the Irish legal market while harnessing local talent. Her appointment marks the next stage of Newcode's expansion in Dublin, with plans to fill 30 roles by the end of the year. Founder and CEO Maged Helmy stated that O'Leary's grounding in law and expertise in AI make her an ideal fit to drive the Newcode offering in Ireland. Newcode enables firms and enterprises to run intelligent, auditable, and context-aware workflows through its agentic AI platform, which acts as a digital co-worker that sits between a firm's systems, data, and applications.
