As the 2025–26 academic year concludes, Cornell Tech will host a series of events on its Roosevelt Island campus in New York City to showcase student achievement and innovation. The programming includes the campus's flagship Startup Awards, which celebrate graduating students and student-led entrepreneurship, and the launch of the inaugural Frontiers of AI Summit. The Startup Awards will feature eleven finalist teams competing for investment, mentorship, and office space, with the winners announced by Cornell alumnus Andrew Ross Sorkin. The event also includes Open Studio demonstrations showcasing early-stage technologies and applied research. Additionally, Cornell Tech will host an invite-only ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of new design and architecture facilities, including the Gensler Family AAP NYC Center.
