RELX Group enters into agreement to acquire French Legaltech company Doctrine

Founded in 2016 and headquartered in Paris, Doctrine combines a comprehensive corpus of case law, legislation, and regulatory content for civil law jurisdictions with AI-powered research, drafting, and analytics tools, serving 27,000 legal professionals daily across France, Italy, Germany, and Spain. The proposed acquisition remains subject to applicable information and consultation procedures with employee representative bodies and customary regulatory consents, with terms undisclosed, and both companies will continue to operate separately in the interim.
