Summary

Legal tech startup Lawyered has raised $2.5 Mn in a Pre-Series A funding round led by Rainmatter and Turbostart, with participation from Finvolve. The company, founded in 2018, provides AI-supported SaaS solutions for legal advisory, traffic challan resolution, and legal risk management, initially focusing on the mobility sector. Its flagship product, Lawyer On-The-Spot (LOTS247), offers instant access to a network of 80,000 lawyers. Lawyered has reportedly resolved over 200,000 legal matters and covered more than 2 million vehicles, working with over 800 businesses.

The new funding will be used to scale the platform, enhance product offerings, and accelerate user acquisition. Lawyered plans to extend its “legal infrastructure” model beyond mobility into sectors like finance, real estate, and healthcare, aiming to make legal services “always-on, embedded, and accessible.”

The company operates in a growing AI-driven legal tech market, competing with firms like Lucio, LawRato, LegalKart, and MyAdvo. India’s AI market is projected to reach $126 Bn by 2030, with a cumulative GDP impact of $1.7 Tn by 2035, indicating significant growth potential for companies like Lawyered.
