Gurugram-based legal-tech startup Lawyered has secured $2.5 million in a pre-Series A funding round led by Rainmatter by Zerodha and Turbostart, with participation from existing investor Finvolve. Previously, Lawyered raised Rs 8.5 crore on the show IdeaBaaz. Founded in 2018 by Himanshu Gupta, Lawyered provides AI-driven on-road legal assistance through platforms like “LOTS247” (roadside legal aid) and “ChallanPay” (traffic fine resolution), targeting vehicle owners, drivers, and logistics businesses.

The company aims to become India’s leading platform for identifying and resolving legal risks in mobility, focusing on proactive compliance to reduce financial strain and downtime. Lawyered’s Gen AI approach transforms legal services from reactive to proactive, embedding legal infrastructure into daily operations. Currently covering over 2 million vehicles and working with more than 800 businesses, Lawyered has resolved over 200,000 legal matters, saving users over $6 million in penalties.

Lawyered plans to extend its services beyond mobility into sectors like finance, real estate, healthcare, and e-commerce, embedding legal infrastructure directly into everyday operations to address recurring legal risks.
