Litera Brings Trusted AI-Powered Document Comparison to Google Workspace

Litera has announced a global integration of Litera Compare with Google Workspace, providing law firms and corporate legal teams with access to its AI-powered document comparison and redlining capabilities directly within Google Drive. Litera Compare, trusted by over 15,000 firms for over 30 years, offers 100% accuracy in tracking redlines, even in complex legal documents. The integration also includes access to Lito, Litera’s legal AI agent, offering AI-powered automation.

This integration addresses the challenge legal teams face when AI cannot directly operate on documents within their existing systems, eliminating manual workarounds and reducing errors. Users can now access documents for redlining and comparison directly from Google Drive within Google Docs. The full capabilities of Lito – including chat-based summaries, risk analysis, and clause rewrite suggestions – are available for Google-hosted documents without requiring downloads or format conversions.

Litera’s solution aims to reduce context-switching for lawyers, enabling them to focus on practicing law rather than managing tools. The company will be showcasing the integration at Google Cloud Next, and a webinar is scheduled for May 21st to demonstrate how Litera Compare and Lito can save time and improve efficiency within Google Workspace.
