Relativity, a legal data intelligence company, and Wickard.ai, a legal AI education and training company, have announced a partnership to expand AI education in U.S. law schools. This collaboration will combine Relativity’s Academic program resources with Wickard.ai’s AI curriculum, offering students practical experience with RelativityOne, Relativity’s AI platform, at no cost.
According to Phil Saunders, CEO of Relativity, “AI isn't coming for the legal industry; it's already here…we have a responsibility to help prepare the next generation of lawyers.” The partnership aims to address the growing need for “Legal AI literacy” as a core competency for future lawyers, as stated by Oliver Roberts, Founder and CEO of Wickard.ai.
Over 115 academic institutions currently participate in the Relativity Academic program, and Wickard.ai has already led AI education programs at several law schools, including Case Western Reserve University. A webinar on integrating AI into legal education is scheduled for April 30, 2026.
