Factor’s 2026 GenAI in Legal Benchmarking Report, based on surveys of 204 legal professionals, indicates that 82.7% of legal teams now have access to generative AI, but only 22.1% have high trust in its outputs. The primary barriers to AI adoption are a lack of trust (22.8%) and insufficient training or confidence (21.7%). Teams with high trust are over three times more likely to see a positive ROI from AI initiatives.
