Clio Introduces Clio Operate, Formerly ShareDo
Summary
Clio has announced the rebranding of ShareDo to Clio Operate, a platform aimed at large law firms seeking to streamline complex workflows and enhance operational control. Previously acquired by Clio in March 2025, Clio Operate connects existing firm tools into a centralized, secure platform. The platform is designed for firms operating across multiple jurisdictions and practice areas, offering features like no-code capabilities for launching new service lines and robust governance controls.
According to Clio, firms using Clio Operate have seen significant improvements, including up to 40% reduction in case lifecycles, 80% acceleration in matter creation, and a 30% increase in fee-earner capacity. CEO Jack Newton stated that Clio Operate is “purpose-built to support” the evolving needs of large law firms, providing an “intelligent connective layer” for systems and unlocking institutional capacity.
Ben Nicholson, General Manager, Enterprise UK at Clio, emphasized the continued focus on configurability and control for customers. Clio Operate is now available in North America, the UK, EMEA, and APAC, and was unveiled at the British Legal Tech Forum.
