Former Broward County Commissioner Diana Wasserman-Rubin has been formally charged with seven counts of 'unlawful compensation' by the Broward State Attorney's Office for reportedly advocating for, and benefiting from, a number of government grants written by her husband.� The formal charges were filed on Friday and a formal arraignment on the charges will be held in the coming weeks.
