LEXINGTON, Ky. - Two men are "extremely sorry" for hanging an effigy of Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama on the University of Kentucky campus, their lawyer said Friday, but he said charges related to their "ill-conceived prank" were excessive.

The wheels of justice are grinding a little more slowly in Oswego County as a dispute drags on between a county judge and an assistant district attorney. The judge has filed grievances against the ADA and has stepped down from several cases as a result. Our Andy Mattison says the ongoing dispute is leaving victims, witnesses, defendants and their lawyers, caught in the middle.
