Barnes & Noble Inc. said yesterday that it had been subpoenaed over stock-option practices by the U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York. In a Securities and Exchange Commission filing, the bookstore chain said it received the subpoena on Aug. 25 and would cooperate fully.
